BYD выводит на рынок новый бренд Linghui

Что известно о первых моделях

Chinese automaker BYD has announced the creation of a new sub-brand, Linghui, which will specialize in the production of vehicles for the corporate sector and taxi fleets. The first information about the models appeared thanks to the database of the Ministry of Industry of China, which made it possible to obtain detailed data on the appearance, dimensions, and power plants of the new cars.

Linghui e5

The junior model in the lineup is the Linghui e5, which is an updated pre-styling BYD Qin Plus EV, produced from 2021 to 2024. The new version features a redesigned front and rear, and the decorative chrome elements have become matte. The sedan's dimensions are 4805 mm in length, 1837 mm in width, and 1530 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2718 mm and a curb weight of 1595 kg. Under the hood is an electric motor TZ180XSJ with a power of 136 hp, and the maximum speed is limited to 130 km/h. Information about the battery and internal equipment is not yet available.

The mid-size model, the Linghui e7, is a rebranding of the BYD e7, created in May 2025 specifically for taxis. There are no significant changes in the transition to the new sub-brand, except for the logos. The model's dimensions are 4780 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm and a weight ranging from 1499 to 1566 kg. The TZ180XSJ electric motor develops 136 hp, and the maximum speed is 150 km/h. Standard versions of the BYD e7 are equipped with 48 and 57.6 kWh batteries, providing a range of 450-520 km.

The flagship is the Linghui e9, which is based on the BYD Han EV and was introduced back in 2021 for the corporate sector. The new version only received changes in the logos. The sedan's dimensions are 4995 mm in length, 1910-1940 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm and a weight of 1790-1890 kg. The vehicle is powered by TZ200XSAH and TZ200XYAZ electric motors with a power of 184 and 204 hp, respectively. The standard BYD e9 battery of 60.5 kWh provides up to 506 km of range on a single charge.

Linghui e7

All three Linghui models are fully electric but retain the designs of their prototypes. The changes mainly concern the exterior design and labeling, which reflects BYD's strategy of creating a separate corporate sub-brand without radically interfering with the technical components.

The Linghui e5 and e7 are aimed at the segment of compact and mid-size corporate sedans, while the dimensions and weight of the models differ: the e5 is slightly larger than the e7 in length and height but is inferior in width and wheelbase. The flagship e9, on the other hand, is noticeably larger and more powerful, offering higher performance in terms of weight and electric motor power.

Details on the batteries and range have not been officially disclosed, but based on the characteristics of the prototypes, it can be assumed that the e5 and e7 will have a capacity of about 48-57.6 kWh, and the e9 will retain a 60.5 kWh battery. The range on a single charge for the mid-size and flagship models can reach 500 km, which meets the requirements of corporate use and taxi services.

The new models will be of interest to companies that value operational reliability and efficiency, as well as the ability to integrate into taxi fleet systems. At the same time, BYD retains the design and technical solutions of proven models, which simplifies the production and maintenance of cars under the new brand.

Linghui e9

The launch of Linghui reflects BYD's strategy of diversifying brands and expanding its presence in the corporate market in China. All three sedans-e5, e7, and e9-demonstrate the company's approach to creating specialized solutions for customers who require practical electric vehicles adapted for commercial use.
