The Knewstar 001 coupe-like crossover, almost identical to the Geely Tugella, has become significantly more affordable on the Russian market. According to an analysis of price lists, the dealer discount on the model has increased by 210,000 rubles at once, reaching 500,000 in all versions. At the same time, official prices remained at the same level: from 3.66 to 3.99 million rubles, depending on the configuration.
The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine: in the Luxury and Flagship versions, it develops 200 hp, and in the Flagship Sport, 238 hp. All modifications received an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes from 6.9 to 7.4 seconds. Despite its Chinese origin, the model is factory-adapted to the Russian climate, featuring a "winter" package with heating for all key areas.
The Knewstar 001 offers rich equipment even in the base version: 19-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, leather interior, a digital instrument panel, and a large 12.3-inch multimedia screen. There is also a 360-degree camera, electric trunk drive, six airbags, and a full set of assistants.
The model remains a relevant alternative to the Tugella, which has disappeared from our market.
