Vehicles of the «Sobol NN», «Gazelle NN» and NEXT lines have received airbags. This was reported by the distribution company «Modern Transport Technologies» (STT).
Models of the NN family («Sobol» and «Gazelle») are equipped with passenger and driver airbags already in the basic configuration. For «Gazelle Next», the driver's airbag is also offered «in the base», and the passenger airbag is available as an option.
The innovation has already affected vehicles with a flatbed platform, combi and all-metal vans, as well as bus modifications with diesel engines. In the future, airbags will begin to be introduced in other modifications.
The new option will improve the safety of vehicles, expand the possibilities of using them in municipal purchases and corporate fleets, where safety requirements are becoming stricter.
