The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, held a meeting with top managers of the "Kama" company, where he discussed preparations for the mass production of the "Atom" electric car.
During the visit, Alikhanov assessed the low-voltage equipment laboratory, the company's unique IT developments, innovative driver assistance systems, and Research and Quality Control Centers.
The installation of the necessary equipment has already been completed at the "Atom" production site. A full-scale launch of mass production is scheduled for the second half of 2025.
The "Atom" electric car will be available to customers in two power versions: 149-horsepower for car sharing and taxis, and 204-horsepower for private buyers.
According to preliminary information, in the basic version, the cost of the model will be within 3 million rubles, excluding the state support program.
