A unique car from the Soviet era, a GAZ-14 "Chaika" from 1985, has been put up for sale in Moscow. The car's mileage is only 7,417 km.
The sedan has not only retained its original appearance, but has also received modern improvements - the original engine has been replaced with a Japanese 1UZ-FE and an automatic transmission.
The GAZ-14 "Chaika" was produced from 1977 to 1989, and only diplomats, high-ranking government officials, and directors of large enterprises could own it.
The black body of the "Chaika" shows no signs of damage or rust, and the interior is in perfect condition. All modifications, including the engine replacement and the installation of an automatic transmission, have been officially registered with the traffic police.
The current owner values the car at 3.5 million rubles.
