Chinese automaker GAC has canceled a 150 thousand rubles discount on the GS3 compact crossover for the 2024 and 2025 model years, which was introduced just two months ago in June 2025. The company did not disclose the reasons for this decision. As a result, the cost of the GS3 has returned to its previous level, and now prices for the model in Russia range from 2,449,000 to 2,849,000 rubles, depending on the configuration.
The GAC GS3, positioned as a competitor to the Chery Tiggo 4 (from 2,220,000 rubles) and Belgee X50 (from 2,189,990 rubles), is available in five trim levels. The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 170 hp, working in tandem with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with a double clutch. Among the options are adaptive cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, all-round cameras and driver assistance systems.
According to "Autostat", in July 2025, GAC sold 2,842 cars in Russia, which is 60.6% more than in July 2024. The GS3 remains the most affordable model of the brand, which is one of the six best-selling GAC cars in the country. The cancellation of discounts may be due to an increase in demand or a change in pricing policy, but no exact explanations have been received from the manufacturer.
