Belarusian automobile plant Belgee is preparing to release several new car models at once

Electric car, hybrid crossover and sedan with LPG announced

At a recent press conference, the Belgee plant announced a planned expansion of the range of cars produced. The public was presented with the Geely Xingyuan electric crossover, which is breaking sales records in China, the Belgee X80 hybrid crossover and the Belgee S50 sedan, which runs on gas equipment. Most of the event was devoted to the presentation of the Geely Xingyuan, which will replace the Belgee EX50, a Belarusian project that was planned for production but canceled for financial reasons.

The Belarusian version will receive a menu translation into Russian and windshield heating. 2 modifications with a capacity of 79 and 116 hp will be available for sale, the expected price is at the level of the closest competitor — Dongfeng Box, which costs just under 50 thousand Belarusian rubles.

The Belgee X80 hybrid crossover, based on the Geely Galaxy Starship 7, is currently undergoing certification, and the first cars should roll off the assembly line in the 3rd quarter of this year. Gennady Svidersky, General Director of the Belgee plant, admitted the possibility of the crossover appearing on the Russian market, where there is increased interest in hybrids.

The third novelty is the Belgee S50 — a sedan based on the Geely Emgrand IV, which will receive factory LPG equipment. A batch of such cars was recently spotted in Russia.
