Jaecoo J7 with a different engine and exterior will appear in Russia. Almost a year ago, Chery Tiggo 7 with the High Energy Edition prefix, with an appearance in the spirit of Range Rover Evoque, was presented in China.
In the near future, the car will appear in Russia, but will be sold as a special version of Jaecoo J7. In addition, this "seven" has a less powerful 1.5 turbo engine with 147 hp under the hood. The engine will probably be paired with a six-speed "robot", and the drive will probably remain front-wheel drive. Neither the debut nor the price of the new product has been disclosed yet.
In the new special version, Jaecoo J7 received a smaller grille, shaped like the one on the Range Rover, a large front bumper, but retained the recognizable "pixel" optics of Jaecoo.
