The Russian company Terranica has presented the hybrid all-terrain vehicle Terranica Expedition, developed in collaboration with the Cardi body shop.
A key feature of the new product is its light weight. The curb weight is only 2.5 tons, the gross weight is 3.25 tons. The suspension is made of plastic that can withstand temperatures ranging from -60 to +100 degrees Celsius. Car dimensions: length - 4610 mm, height - 2500 mm, width - 2640 mm.
Pontoons are located under the tracked propulsion units, providing buoyancy to the all-terrain vehicle. The car is equipped with two electric motors with a capacity of 40 kW each, driving the tracks through the front sprockets.
In the rear there is a diesel generator, and under the floor there are two fuel tanks with a volume of 150 liters each and batteries. On asphalt, the all-terrain vehicle is capable of speeds up to 60 km/h on the highway, and up to 40 km/h off-road. The declared range is 1000 km.
