At the Chengdu Motor Show, BMW will present a special version of the X5 crossover — the Sport Night Edition. The new model, already published on Autohome, is offered in four trim levels, priced from 615 to 800 thousand yuan (86–112 thousand dollars). The crossover received a black sports body kit, which emphasizes its dynamic character.
The BMW X5 Sport Night Edition is equipped with two engines: a 2.0-liter with 258 hp and a 3.0-liter with 381 hp, with a maximum torque of 400 and 520 N·m, respectively. Both engines work in tandem with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system, providing a balance of power and handling.
The design of the Sport Night Edition focuses on elegance and sportiness, which makes the model attractive to the Chinese market, where demand for premium crossovers continues to grow. The new product complements the BMW X5 lineup, offering customers a choice between affordability and premium equipment.
