Geely Unveils Galaxy Star 6 with Mercedes-Benz Design and 2 L/100 km Fuel Consumption

Geely has introduced the mid-size hybrid sedan Galaxy Star 6, positioned as a "people's flagship." The car stands out for its fuel efficiency, consuming about 2 liters of fuel per 100 km, making it one of the most efficient in its class. Equipped with the Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 system, the sedan combines a 1.5-liter engine with 111 hp and a 17 kWh battery, providing an electric range of up to 125 km. The service interval has been increased to 15,000 km, and the car passes the moose test at a speed of 78 km/h.

The exterior design of the Galaxy Star 6 resembles Mercedes-Benz cars, thanks to its massive radiator grille with vertical slats, stylish headlights, and three-section air intake. The sedan's dimensions are 4806 × 1886 × 1490 mm, with a wheelbase of 2756 mm. The interior offers a spacious environment, especially at chest level in the second row, and comfortable seats with a nine-layer structure. All elements that passengers interact with have soft upholstery.

Inside, there is a 10-inch screen for the digital instrument panel and a 14.6-inch media system with intelligent Flyme Auto. Top-end configurations offer seats with electric adjustment, ventilation, and heating, as well as a 50W wireless charging pad with cooling. The trunk volume reaches 609 liters, and a sunroof is provided. The Qianli Haohan H3 driver assistance system includes automatic parking and other features, enhancing convenience and safety.
