The truck fleet in the Russian Federation as of the end of June 2025 numbers 2.59 million vehicles, showing a growth of 0.8% over the past six months. Despite this, in general, the total volume of cars produced in Russia is higher - 56% versus 46% of foreign cars. The basis of the fleet remains invariably KamAZ, GAZ and Ural.
In addition, despite the fact that only foreign cars produced in China can be bought new at the moment, most are retained by Volvo, MAN and Scania (112.7, 104.4 and 96.3 cars, respectively). Of the "Chinese", the equipment of the manufacturers Shacman, Fuso and Sitrak shows good growth
However, with seemingly positive statistics, the main parameter - the average age of cars - continues to increase. Two-thirds of the entire fleet rolled off the assembly line before 2016, and this year it was replenished with only 8 thousand new cars. Further aging threatens serious problems - old cars need to be repaired more often, they consume more fuel and are more dangerous on the roads.
