The Russian brand Tenet has expanded the lineup of the compact T4 crossover, produced in Kaluga at the former Volkswagen plant. MT Line and CVT Line versions with a manual gearbox and a CVT have been added to the Active and Prime versions. This reduced the minimum price by 221 thousand rubles - to 1.999 million rubles. The basic version now qualifies for the preferential car loan program.
The new configurations received a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 113 hp, in contrast to the 147-horsepower turbo engine with a "robot" in the older versions. MT Line costs 1.999 million rubles, CVT Line - 2.099 million, Active - 2.22 million, Prime - 2.35 million. Tenet T4 is based on Chery Tiggo 4, retaining similar characteristics and equipment, but assembled in Russia.
The equipment of MT Line and CVT Line includes 16-inch wheels, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, heated mirrors, seats, steering wheel and windshield, keyless entry, cruise control, air conditioning, multimedia with a 10.25-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, ABS, ESC, Isofix and tire pressure monitoring. The price reduction strengthens the model's position in the market.
