Honda CR-V Surpasses 15 Million Units Sold

The compact crossover Honda CR-V has reached a significant milestone: global sales of the model have exceeded 15 million units. This result, announced by Dongfeng Honda, underscores the popularity of the car, which has been in production since 1995. Originally created on the Civic platform, the CR-V has become one of the leaders in the crossover segment thanks to its combination of practicality and reliability.

Production of the Honda CR-V began in 1995, and since 2004, the model has been produced at the facilities of Dongfeng Honda, founded in 2003. In China, the crossover has been sold under the name Honda Breeze since 2019. Over three decades, the CR-V has gained recognition from buyers around the world, which confirms its status as an iconic car.

In honor of the model's 30th anniversary, the Honda CR-V Global 30th Anniversary special series cars began to roll off the assembly line of the third Dongfeng Honda plant.
