The Chinese auto giant Geely, according to Kommersant, plans to start producing its cars in Nizhny Novgorod. The assembly line will probably be provided by JSC PLA ("Passenger Car Production"), which owns the Volga brand and the former Volkswagen plant.
According to sources of "Ъ", initially it was planned to establish the assembly of only the Emgrand model, but later it was decided to consider Monjaro as well, due to its good sales in Russia.
