An immaculate, zero-mileage 1997 Dodge Ram is up for sale in the USA

It has only traveled about 1267 km

A unique 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 is up for auction at Mecum - a pickup truck that seems to have been frozen in time. Its mileage over 28 years is only 787 miles (about 1267 km), and the condition of the body, interior, and mechanics is so impeccable that the car looks like new.

The white Ram with an extended cab was stored in a garage and, judging by the photos, was hardly used. The body does not have a single scratch, the underbody is protected by a mat, and the chrome parts and mirrors shine as if they just came off the assembly line. The cassette player in the cabin has retained its functionality.

The pickup truck has a rich set of features for its time: a driver's seat with electric drive, power windows and locks, carpeting, and steering wheel controls - all of this was included in the SLT version. Under the hood is a 5.9-liter V8 Magnum engine with 235 hp and 447 N·m of torque, working with a four-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.

The package includes the original factory sticker and a new battery - a rare opportunity to buy a "new" Dodge Ram from the nineties, when pickup trucks were real workhorses.
