Suzuki Jimny Gets a Toyota "Face"

Japanese Tuner Transforms SUV into Mini-Land Cruiser

Japanese studio ill Garage has unveiled a tuning kit for the Suzuki Jimny, inspired by the design of the Toyota Hilux Champ budget pickup, which recently served as the basis for the future compact Land Cruiser FJ. The new body kit turns the Jimny into a kind of Suzuki and Toyota hybrid, giving it a more brutal and "working" character.

The CH:AMP kit includes rectangular headlights, a square radiator grille, and a two-section front bumper reminiscent of the Hilux Champ style. All elements are painted in black and visually combined with extended wings and a contrasting roof. The demonstration car also received massive tires, non-original wheels, and a set of lowered springs, reducing ground clearance by 38 mm.

Inside, the tuner offers retro leather covers with braided inserts in cognac brown or charcoal black. You can also order decorative towing hooks, Baja fog lights, a sports muffler, or a reinforced rear bumper. The cost of the basic kit starts from 360,800 yen (approximately 2,300 US dollars) with halogen headlights or 386,100 yen (about 2,500 dollars) with LED optics.

The kit is suitable for three-door Jimny Sierra and five-door Jimny Nomad. For a separate fee, ill Garage offers full installation and painting, as well as the option to order a ready-made Jimny, converted to Toyota style.
