RAM Sales in Russia are Growing: Premium Pickups for 10 Million Rubles Conquer the Market

Demand Surge Expected Before Utilization Fee Change

Interest in large American pickups in Russia continues to increase, despite the price tag of 10 million rubles and the upcoming change in the utilization fee formula. According to Avtostat, RAM registrations increased by 24% in October 2025: 236 new cars were registered, of which 234 were the popular 1500 model and only two were the heavy-duty RAM 2500. This is the best result in recent months and an indication that the segment is confidently retaining its audience.

From January to October, 1419 RAM pickups were registered in the country — almost as many as the year before (1422 units). At the same time, 98.5% of all registrations are for the RAM 1500, which remains an unrivaled offering among full-size frame pickups. The absence of comparable models from other brands only increases demand.

Most of the cars are imported through parallel imports from the UAE, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan. Analysts expect deliveries to accelerate until December 1, when a new, stricter utilization fee formula for powerful cars comes into force. This could lead to another surge in registrations in the coming weeks.
