Audi Unveiled A5L Qiankun Edition

The First Gasoline Car with Huawei's Intelligent Driving System Has Been Released

The Audi A5L Qiankun Edition premiered at the Guangzhou Auto Show, becoming the world's first gasoline car equipped with the Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving system. The new model was created in collaboration between FAW-Audi and Huawei and is priced at 286,800 yuan. The model received a complex of 33 sensors: two front "eagle eye" lidars, six millimeter radars, thirteen cameras, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. This set provides an advanced set of functions: urban and highway NOA, smart navigation, and advanced automatic parking.

A special emphasis was placed on the built-in lidars with a heating and self-cleaning system, thanks to which the sensors remain operational in rain, snow, and dirt. The sedan's dimensions have also been redesigned: an extended wheelbase of 2969 mm and a total length of almost 4.9 m bring the model closer to the European C-class. The exterior of the car is designed in the spirit of new Audi solutions: a large black grille, a low front end, a fastback silhouette, end-to-end rear lights, and Star Matrix matrix lighting with eight zones.

The interior is driver-oriented and offers a rich set of digital screens: an 11.9-inch dashboard, a 14.5-inch central display, a 10.9-inch screen for the passenger, and a W-HUD projection. Standard equipment includes Cloud-Sense seats, a panoramic sunroof with nine zones, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system with 20 speakers. Under the hood is a fifth-generation two-liter EA888 engine with 201 hp and 340 N·m of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8.2 seconds — the focus in this version is not on sports, but on technology and comfort.
