Vladivostok and Ussuriysk Customs Switch to 24/7 Operation

Increased Import of Foreign Cars Forces Transition to Round-the-Clock Vehicle Processing

The Vladivostok and Ussuriysk Customs have switched to a 24/7 operation mode starting November 27 to process vehicles imported by individuals. This was announced on the official Telegram channel of the Federal Customs Service. The innovation allows submitting documents at any time of the day, and customs posts can significantly increase throughput in the face of a growing flow of cars.

According to the FCS, Primorye is experiencing a sharp increase in the number of imported cars. The Ussuriysk Customs processed 11,695 cars from November 1 to 26, which is four times more than in the same period last year. In total, since the beginning of 2025, 64,778 vehicles have passed through it, and on November 26 alone, 653 cars.

The situation in Vladivostok is similar: from November 1 to 26, 37,573 cars were imported, which is 37% higher than the figures for November 2024. Since the beginning of the year, employees of the Vladivostok Customs have processed 311,500 vehicles, and on November 26 alone, they registered a record 2,020 cars. The transition to the 24/7 format should help cope with the further increase in traffic.
