Buick will release the Zenith minivan on December 5th - a car that the company calls a "villa on wheels".
The body length of 5.26 meters, three rows of screens in the front, a 21-inch 4K display for the second row, and a retractable 50-inch projection screen make the interior a real mobile cinema. The doors open with a gesture, the second-row seats with a "weightlessness effect" can massage and ventilate, and the suspension swallows any bumps.
Under the hood, there is a choice between a hybrid and a pure electric car. The hybrid version combines a 1.5-liter turbo engine (180 hp) and an electric motor (272 hp), plus a 40.9 kWh battery provides up to 180 km without gasoline. Electric Zeniths will be either with one motor at 451 horsepower or with two at 655 hp and all-wheel drive. The maximum speed for all versions is limited to 180 km/h.
The premiere is next week, and if the price is at least close to competitors from China, Zenith could become the new king of premium family transportation.
