Lotus is preparing to launch its first model in the new strategy in China — the Eletre crossover in the For Me version. The new product uses a three-component NMC battery with 70 kWh, common with the top configurations of Zeekr 9X. On electric drive, the hybrid is capable of traveling 345–355 km according to the CLTC cycle — one of the best indicators among premium plug-in crossovers.
The battery, created by the CATL and Geely joint venture, supports ultra-fast charging at 900 V: from 20 to 80%, the battery is replenished in 8 minutes 21 seconds. The weight of the car is 2575–2625 kg, which explains the difference in range. In hybrid mode, consumption is only 0.06–0.07 l/100 km WLTC, and with a discharged battery — about 6 l per 100 km. Under the hood, the installation of a 2.0 DHE20-PFZ with 275 hp is expected, capable of simultaneously driving the wheels and recharging the battery on the go.
For Me will receive an electric drive layout from Zeekr 9X: three electric motors with a total power of 1030 kW (1381 hp). This set will accelerate the crossover to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, allow it to reach 230 km/h and tow up to 2275 kg. The design is close to the BEV version: active aerodynamics, a rear spoiler with a downforce of 90 kg and a drag coefficient of 0.26. Dimensions — 5103/2019/1636 mm with a base of 3019 mm.
