BYD has revealed details about the new all-electric Sealion 06 EV SUV. The new model will receive Blade battery packs with a capacity of 75.616 and 82.732 kWh, which will provide a CLTC range of up to 620 and 710 km, respectively. The weight of the batteries will be 538.6 and 571.3 kg, and the curb weight of the car will be 2040 and 2080 kg.
In terms of technology, the electric vehicle has upgraded the power plant: the maximum power will reach 270 kW (362 hp), which is 90 kW more than the current model. The maximum speed of the car will be 210 km/h, while the dimensions remain the same - 4810/1920/1675 mm, wheelbase 2820 mm.
The new Sealion 06 EV continues BYD's signature "ocean aesthetics" style. At the front there is a closed radiator grille with separate headlights and trapezoidal elements, and at the rear there are easily recognizable lights in the form of an "interstellar loop".
