The car service market in Russia reached 1.2 trillion rubles in 2025. Autostat analysts calculated data for 69 regions, where 97% of the country's passenger cars are registered.
Maintenance and repair of passenger cars accounted for 719.1 billion rubles, and another 485 billion rubles for car washes, tire service and body repair. The share of official dealers amounted to 8.5% of maintenance and repair services, or 60.7 billion rubles. Independent service stations occupied about 37% of the market, which is 4.5 times higher than the volume of official services.
Experts estimated the remaining work, which car owners perform on their own or with the help of private mechanics, at 391 billion rubles, which is 54.5% of the market potential. Among the popular services: car wash for 221 billion, body repair for 217.2 billion and tire service for 46.8 billion rubles.
The market continues to grow due to the increase in the car fleet and demand for services, including online booking and mobile service applications. Experts believe that the segment of independent service stations will strengthen its position, and dealers will expand premium and comprehensive services to retain customers.
