Documents for an updated version of the Haval H3 have been found in the Rosstandart database, directly indicating the model's imminent arrival on sale. "Avito Auto Magazine" has published high-quality renders of the car, created based on images from certification materials. Judging by them, the crossover will noticeably change in appearance and become more practical in everyday use.
The main changes occurred in the rear of the body. The Haval H3 lost the massive plastic cover on the fifth door (the "backpack"), which increased the size of the rear window. Finally, a windshield wiper appeared, which many missed since the model's release. In addition, the license plate area was moved from the bumper to the trunk lid, and the design of the rear became more concise. The amount of chrome on the front was reduced, and a large letter inscription was added to the radiator grille.
The changes also affected the technical aspects. Instead of the previous 177 hp turbo engine, the updated Haval H3 will receive a detuned 150 hp engine. This decision will reduce the transport tax, which may make the model more attractive to Russian buyers focused on reasonable operating costs.
