According to the results of 2025, 166 thousand cars were sold in Belarus, of which about half were new passenger cars. This was announced at a conference of Avtopromservice, the official distributor of a number of brands represented in the country. Official dealers sold about 50 thousand new cars, and local enterprises produced 29,305 cars, which amounted to about 18% of total sales.
Electric vehicles continue to gain popularity: in 2025, 31,552 electric vehicles were imported and produced in the country, which corresponds to 19% of the total market volume. Today, 15 brands and 25 models of electric vehicles are represented in Belarus. Avtopromservice sold 8.7 thousand electric vehicles, or almost a third (28%) of their total number in the country.
The conference also announced the creation of the Belarusian Association of Electric Transport (BETA), which will promote and develop electric transport, as well as increase the number of electric vehicles in the country. The new organization should contribute to the accelerated expansion of infrastructure and the popularization of environmentally friendly cars among Belarusian car enthusiasts.
