Russian dealers have opened orders for the new Toyota Corolla, manufactured in January 2026. The cars are subject to a preferential recycling fee, but buyers will have to take into account the long delivery times.
The new Toyota Corolla are being brought from China, and taking into account logistics and customs clearance, the waiting time for the car can take up to seven months. The cars are supplied by individual orders.
The cost of the car in China is 133 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 1.46 million rubles. Additionally, the buyer needs to pay 89 thousand rubles for paperwork, 537 thousand rubles for customs duties, and about 25 thousand rubles for a bank commission for the transfer of funds. As a result, the final price reaches approximately 2.1 million rubles, which is comparable to the current prices for Lada Aura.
The proposed Corolla is equipped with a hybrid power plant based on a 1.8-liter gasoline engine. The total power of the internal combustion engine and electric motor, indicated in the vehicle title, is 136 hp. A CVT works in tandem with the unit.
At the same time, Toyota Corolla of the previous generation are still available on the Russian market, but their cost is noticeably higher and reaches 2.8 million rubles. The reasons for such a significant difference in price are not officially explained.
