Requirements for the execution of trip tickets for drivers, companies, and individual entrepreneurs have become stricter in Russia. A fine is provided for several categories of transportation participants for the absence of a document or errors in its completion.
The presence and correctness of trip tickets can be checked by employees of the State traffic inspectorate, the labor inspectorate, and the tax service. The document must be held by drivers working at enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, and self-employed taxi drivers.
For the driver, the fine for the absence of a trip ticket is 500 rubles. At the first violation, the inspector may be limited to a warning. For officials who are responsible for the release of transport on the line, the penalty is from 5 thousand to 10 thousand rubles. For companies and individual entrepreneurs, the fine can reach 100 thousand rubles.
An overdue trip ticket is legally equivalent to its absence. Similar sanctions apply to errors in the execution of the document. Most often, violations are associated with the absence of marks on the driver's medical examination or technical control of the car.
In such cases, the driver faces a fine of 1 thousand to 3 thousand rubles, and organizations can pay up to 50 thousand rubles. At the same time, the absence of a trip ticket is not a basis for the evacuation of the car: the inspector has the right only to issue a fine.
