However, practice has also shown the downside. Drivers often have to distract themselves from the road to find the right menu item. That is why a number of manufacturers have already begun to bring back physical controls. Among them, Hyundai, Volkswagen, and other brands that faced user criticism have previously been noted.

For Range Rover, the change is especially important, as modern cars of the brand are traditionally positioned as a combination of technology and comfort. The return of buttons could be an attempt to find a balance between digital capabilities and the convenience of everyday use.

In fact, the industry is beginning to move away from the idea of completely abandoning physical controls. And if just a few years ago buttons were considered a relic of the past, now they are increasingly perceived as an element of safety and convenience.
