Mitsubishi officially announced the return of the Pajero: first details revealed

The company showed the suspension and confirmed the use of a ladder frame construction and the proprietary S-AWC all-wheel drive system

Mitsubishi Motors officially announced that the new Pajero will be presented to the global public for the first time this autumn. Simultaneously, the company launched a special website for the model, where it revealed the first technical details and published a video dedicated to the suspension of the future SUV.

The main feature of the new Pajero will be its ladder frame construction, which should ensure high body strength and confident movement over difficult off-road terrain. Mitsubishi emphasizes that engineers paid attention not only to off-road capability but also to comfort on asphalt: the new suspension is designed to reduce vibrations and body roll on uneven roads.

Another confirmed feature will be the proprietary S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) all-wheel drive system. It combines transmission control and electronic stability systems, helping the vehicle maintain stability on asphalt, snow, mud, and rocky sections. The complex includes an active torque distribution system that increases the efficiency of all-wheel drive in challenging road conditions.

The company also confirmed the return of the proprietary multi-functional off-road display, which became one of the hallmarks of previous Pajero generations. The modern version will be able to display data on body position, direction of travel, traction distribution, and other parameters important when driving off-road.

The world premiere of the model will take place in autumn 2026, with sales expected to start later.
