Aston Martin Valen received an 850-hp V12

The company transformed the Vanquish into an extreme special version with a carbon fiber body and magnesium wheels

Aston Martin has unveiled the Valen – the brand's most powerful front-engined road car. It is based on the Vanquish architecture, but almost all key elements have been redesigned to reduce weight and increase output.

Under the hood is a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12. Power reaches 850 hp, torque – 1000 Nm. All traction is transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic. The Valen accelerates to 100 km/h in approximately 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 345 km/h.

However, Aston Martin engineers did not simply increase power. Thanks to carbon fiber, aluminum, magnesium, and titanium, the weight was reduced by approximately 110 kg compared to the base platform. Lightweight components are additionally available, including 21-inch magnesium wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes.

The Valen also received adaptive Bilstein shock absorbers, special Pirelli tires, and eight-speed gearbox settings borrowed from the racing Vantage GT4. The body received advanced aerodynamics, carbon fiber panels, and additional elements to increase downforce.

The most unusual detail is the exhaust system. It uses 12 titanium exhaust manifolds and four tailpipes, and the Valen's sound is about 50% louder than the Vanquish. Moreover, Aston Martin did not use artificial sound amplification: the V12's character is created mechanically.

Aston Martin will build a total of 150 Valen units. The first cars are expected to be delivered to owners in the second quarter of 2027. The price has not been officially disclosed, but the model belongs to the exclusive Q by Aston Martin projects.
