Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster – the first road motorcycle in the brand's history. It is the third joint project between Aston Martin and the French Brough Superior, following the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro. But this time, the motorcycle was created specifically for public roads and from scratch, without transferring components from previous models. The first deliveries are scheduled for Q3 2027.
The main technical innovation is an all-new 4-stroke V-Twin engine with a displacement of 1083 cm³ and liquid cooling. The engine develops 130 hp and 110 Nm, with engineers focusing on torque at low and medium RPMs. The engine is manufactured and assembled at the Brough Superior facility in Toulouse.
The engine is mounted in an unusual titanium frame, milled from a solid billet. Its weight is only 5 kg. In combination with carbon fiber elements, this allowed for a motorcycle weight of 190 kg and a 50:50 weight distribution.
Another feature is the Fior front suspension with double wishbones instead of the usual telescopic fork. This design separates steering and braking functions and helps reduce dive during intense deceleration.
The design is entirely developed in Aston Martin's style: side "gills", the signature side-strake, oval exhaust pipes, and taillights resemble solutions from the brand's sports cars and hypercars.
Production will be limited to 300 motorcycles, each of which will be hand-assembled. The price has not been disclosed in Aston Martin's official press release.
