Izhtekhmash presented three new off-road motorcycles of the Sprint line at the Motovesna`26 exhibition. They all differ from each other in different engine options, transmission, and wheels. The line is focused on simple and reliable off-road vehicles with a basic design and affordable price.
The first Sprint model is equipped with a Lifan KP270E-R engine with a power of 10 hp with manual and electric start. The designers used a gearbox with an automatic clutch, as well as a simple suspension with front and rear shock absorbers.
The motorcycle received tires of size 20×7-8 and a rear disc brake. The basic equipment includes a headlight and a battery. The cost is 115.5 thousand rubles.
Another model received the letter "CVT" in its name. It has a Lifan KP230E-R engine with a power of 8 hp and a TAV2-40 variator. This scheme simplifies control and reduces the load on the driver in difficult areas.
The remaining structural elements were retained — shock absorbers at the front and rear, 20×7-8 tires, and a rear disc brake. The price is declared at the level of 116.5 thousand rubles.
The third model also uses a Lifan KP270E-R engine with 10 hp, but received a gearbox with an automatic clutch. It differs from the basic version by increased 23×7-10 wheels and a telescopic front fork.
The developers retained the simple design and basic equipment with a headlight and battery. The cost reaches 125 thousand rubles.
A representative of Izhtekhmash said that the company completely produces the front part of motorcycles — hubs, fork, frame, swingarm.
We buy attachments — engine, chains, although we make the sprockets ourselves. The tires themselves, of course, are bought in China. Russian bearings, silent blocks in swingarms — Russian.
Separately, a company representative drew attention to the motorcycle called "Scout 9", which stands out for its unusual chain in the front of the suspension.
All-wheel drive, it has no analogues. Three chains are used here, a lever-type front suspension with progression. The weight is around 150 kg, the engine is 250 cc, the brakes are hydraulic.
«Scout 9» received a 4-stroke single-cylinder Zongshen 165FMM engine and a mechanical gearbox (4 gears forward, 1 back). The presence of reverse also increases the off-road qualities of the motorcycle. The ground clearance is 300 mm. The motorcycle has front and rear suspension, disc hydraulic brakes. Tire size is — 25x8-12.
