Motoram.ru presents the top 5 most memorable custom bikes from various workshops at the "Moto Vesna`26" exhibition. The authors focused on individuality, visual concepts, and non-standard technical solutions.
The "Reactor" from the "Custom Budya" workshop is dedicated to the liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident for the 40th anniversary of the disaster. The motorcycle was assembled on the basis of a ZAZ-968 engine and a Dnepr transmission.
The design is made as brutal as possible — a dry frame, a lever fork of the old type, R13 wheels with retro tires. External elements were assembled from Yawa and Ural components, and the seat was made in the form of a miner's shovel. The project is completely homemade and focused on the show format.
The "Viking" was also developed in the "Custom Budya" studio. The authors were inspired by Scandinavian mythology — the bike received massive wheels with wide tires and decorative elements with runes.
At the heart is a ZAZ-968 engine and a Dnepr transmission. The design is complemented by a springer fork, a custom tank and fenders. The engineers refined the lubrication system, installed a carburetor from a VAZ-2108 and electronic ignition.
Kawasaki Icebreaker GTR 1400 from the "RSWmoto" workshop was built as a functional custom for races. The motorcycle received an in-line 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 1400 cubic cm and a redesigned aluminum body kit.
The fuel tank is integrated into the frame, and the wheels are equipped with spikes (about 400 elements). The brake discs were made on the basis of Brembo. The project has previously participated in races and is used as a demonstration bike by the workshop.
The "Bobber" motorcycle from the "KV" workshop received a BMW R100 engine and components from classic BMW models. The design is complemented by custom body elements, an exhaust system and R16 wheels. The design used retro optics from the Soviet period and custom paint.
The "Mechanic" by Evgeny Grigoriev was presented as an art object. The motorcycle received a UD-2 engine and a completely homemade design, including one-sided suspensions at the front and rear.
The authors abandoned classic elements like fenders, and the appearance was formed due to the natural aging of materials.
