The Tatarstan sports and technical club "Naikom Extreme" and the Belarusian "Motovelo Plant" have started jointly developing a cross motorcycle under the Minsk brand. This was announced by the director of the club and head of the Motorcycle Federation of Tatarstan, Nail Khubbatullin.
The first prototypes are planned to be completed by August 2025, after which they will be tested at the Naikom Arena in Naberezhnye Chelny before entering the market. The developers intend to improve the design, including the frame and suspension, based on feedback from specialists.
In addition to the cross motorcycle, an enduro model designed for beginners is planned. Khubbatullin emphasized that the cost of the new equipment may be significantly lower than that of leading brands, which makes the project attractive to a wide audience. Testing and refinement will be carried out with the participation of both parties.
The idea of holding an international motocross race in 2026 is also being considered.
