AvtoVAZ to officially present the first Lada crossover at SPIEF-2025 on June 18

The car is known under the code name B-Plus Cross

Domestic automaker AvtoVAZ will premiere its first Lada crossover at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The crossover is widely known under the code name B-Plus Cross, but the final name has not yet been announced. The car was developed on the basis of Lada Vesta, and the start of production, according to the latest data, is scheduled for the beginning of 2026.

Lada Iskra, which is scheduled to be launched on the market in July 2025 — on the birthday of AvtoVAZ, will also be presented at the Samara Region stand.

LADA B-Plus Cross will be the first model with a panoramic roof. The wheelbase of the new item will be 2677 mm, ground clearance — 210 mm.

The car will be offered only with front-wheel drive, and modernized 1.6 and 1.8 liter gasoline engines with a capacity of 120 hp and 136 hp, respectively, will be installed under the hood. There is also a planned version with an automatic transmission and a 150 hp engine.

On the afternoon of June 18, AvtoVAZ showed the first shots of the car's design.

The standard equipment of the car will include options such as a panoramic roof with a sunroof, heated side windows, dual-zone climate control and an electric tailgate.

Earlier it was reported that Lada Azimut will be equipped with three engines: 1.8 liters with a capacity of 132 hp, 1.6 liters with a capacity of 120 hp, and it is also planned to introduce a Chinese 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp approximately in two years.

It is important to note that the new crossover will have exclusively front-wheel drive, since the Lada Vesta platform is not designed for all-wheel drive. These characteristics emphasize AvtoVAZ's desire to offer a competitive product in the crossover market.
