According to Maxim Sokolov, the company's head, mass production of the model is scheduled for 2027, a year after the official presentation. The new family minivan will accommodate up to 7 people.
As part of the project, which is planned to invest about 21 billion rubles, the company intends to strengthen its position in the Russian car market.
In April 2025, AvtoVAZ head Maxim Sokolov announced the approval of the minivan's design, which received the working title B-Van. A model of this car was demonstrated to Vladimir Putin in late January during his working trip to AvtoVAZ. It will be built on an extended and reinforced Lada Vesta base.
