As part of the student concept car project, Skoda has created an unusual pickup based on the Superb model, called the Skoda L&K 130. The car is designed to meet the needs of cyclists and is focused on supporting cycling races.
For this purpose, the car had its roof removed behind the C-pillar, and a stand with electric-powered guides was installed, which allows bicycles to be raised to an angle of up to 35 degrees for convenient transportation and maintenance.
Only one seat in the second row has been left in the pickup's cabin, and the freed-up space is occupied by a refrigeration chamber for storing water bottles. The right sliding door attracts special attention, equipped with two locking mechanisms and two external handles to increase rigidity and safety for cyclists near the car.
The Skoda L&K 130 stands out with its bright design, combining gold, red, white, and black colors, reflecting the Laurin & Klement brand palette. The concept car will be presented to the public, including at the Tour de France cycling race, which will take place from July 5 to 27, 2025.
