Legendary Soviet "chisel" put up for sale in Germany

The owner of the VAZ-2109 estimated the 1991 car at 1,499 euros

A Soviet car, which used to be the ultimate dream for many car enthusiasts in the USSR, has been put up for sale in Germany. The VAZ-2109 model, known as the "chisel", is in excellent condition.

The car was produced in 1991 at the factory in Tolyatti, the car arrived in Germany with Ukrainian license plates and documents.

VAZ-2109 is a modernized version with an updated design, featuring a modified hood shape and elongated wings. Under the hood is a 1.3-liter engine producing 64 hp, combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The equipment includes central locking, electric windows, improved sound insulation and tinted windows.

The car's mileage is only 150 thousand kilometers, the price of a rare Lada Samara is 1,499 euros, which is equivalent to approximately 138 thousand rubles.
