Domestic cars can become cheaper and better only if there is competition in the market, which the management of AvtoVAZ constantly complains about. This statement was made by Deputy Sergey Mironov.
According to him, Chinese manufacturers have a different financial situation, but also a lower price for products, which is the result of internal competition.
We have one large car factory that is treated like a precious treasure! This means that in China, cars will become cheaper and better, and in our country, I am afraid, the opposite will happen.
Mironov believes that the increase in the recycling fee provoked a jump in prices in the market and only exacerbated the problems of the domestic auto industry.

Earlier it became known that AvtoVAZ in 2025 may reduce the production plan by 20% - to 400 thousand cars due to a decrease in car and consumer lending, as well as overstocking in retail chains.
