Sollers plans to complete the development of a new SUV of the Russian brand Sollers at the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year and present a production-ready model during the same period. This was announced by Zoya Kaika, Deputy General Director of the company, on the sidelines of the Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg.
The project, which is being developed together with partners from China, is now in its final stage.
The installation of an updated conveyor and welding equipment for the production of a new SUV at the production site in Ulyanovsk has already been completed, and the modernization of the painting complex and the creation of a new press production are underway.
Kaika added that the model will be launched in 2026 with a full production cycle, including stamping of body elements at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
