The Sollers Group of companies has started the production of electromechanical transfer cases at the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant site in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The production is organized by the subsidiary Sollers Production of Transmissions LLC and is focused on equipping Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickups, as well as UAZ Patriot, Pickup and all-wheel drive Profi vehicles.
The project includes the localization of key processes: casting and machining of crankcases, assembly and control and testing tests. This will increase the degree of localization of components and improve the quality of cars.
The annual production volume will be about 20 thousand transfer cases. Total investments in the project will exceed 350 million rubles, partially financed by a loan from the Industrial Development Fund.
