A 1972 GAZ-69 has been put up for sale in Novosibirsk. This restored car is a Romanian copy of the GAZ: the M 461.
The car was produced from 1964 to 1975 at the ARO (Auto Romania) plant in Campulung. The SUV became a development of the previous model IMS-57, a copy of the Soviet GAZ-69. At the same time, the M-461 had improved characteristics and a more refined design.
The specimen put up for sale is equipped with a 2.1 liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 55 hp. The declared mileage is 77,000 km. The owner has slightly upgraded the rarity.
There is no report on the history of the SUV. This often happens if the vehicle was manufactured before 1983 - the owners do not have enough data about it or the car was not registered in Russia.
