The Chinese automotive brand Kaiyi, part of the Chery Group, will continue to operate in the Russian market, the brand's press service told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Earlier, the portal "Auto Mail", citing a source, reported that Kaiyi allegedly plans to stop production and supply of cars to Russia. However, the company officially denied this information, confirming its commitment to the Russian market.
The production of all Kaiyi models for Russia is carried out at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. The official distributor of the brand, KAI Rus, provides support to the dealer network, which has 62 centers in the largest cities of the country. This allows fulfilling warranty obligations and carrying out maintenance of sold cars, including the E5 sedan and the X3, X3 Pro, and X7 Kunlun crossovers.
