In the 30th week of 2025, Toyota sold 636 new cars in Russia, once again securing 9th place in the weekly sales ranking. Thus, the Japanese brand has been in the top 10 for the third week in a row, ahead of Chinese brands such as Omoda and GAC.
Since the beginning of the year, Toyota has taken 12th place overall with a market share of 1.6% and 10,461 registered vehicles. This makes it the leader among brands that officially left Russia in 2022.
Notably, 77% of Toyota cars sold in the country in 2025 are made in China. After the brand left the Russian market, the main part of the supply is carried out through the Chinese joint ventures FAW-Toyota and GAC-Toyota. The lion's share of sales is formed by models adapted for the Chinese market — Corolla, Camry and RAV4.
Despite the active offensive of Chinese brands, which controlled about 62% of the Russian market in 2024, Toyota maintains stable demand.
