The Geely Monjaro crossover, known as Xingyue L in China, continues to grow in popularity in its home market. Since the model's release on July 20, 2021, more than 800,000 units have been sold, and demand is steadily increasing. In 2025, the car cemented its leadership in the SUV segment, demonstrating impressive sales results.
In the first half of 2025, 146,000 Geely Monjaros were sold in China, with monthly sales exceeding 20,000 units. If the pace continues, the second half of the year could lead to a new sales record. The model, built on the CMA platform developed in collaboration with Volvo, combines a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (214-234 hp) and modern technologies, including a triple display and adaptive all-wheel drive.
The high sales figures set the Monjaro apart from competitors with internal combustion engines and even some electric vehicles. Experts note that the model's success is due to its reliability, technology, and attractive design, making it a leader in the compact SUV segment.
