A unique specimen is on sale in Vilgertshofen, Germany - a UAZ-2206 "Buchanka" modified and equipped for travel. The 2020 car has not been in an accident, and in winter it was stored in a heated garage, which, together with additional anti-corrosion treatment of the body and underbody, has kept it in perfect condition. The car has a BMW clutch, an arc roof rack, a removable towbar, air conditioning, a 130-amp generator, the windows have been additionally sealed, and all external lights have metal reinforcements.
The interior of the car has also undergone serious changes: fabric upholstery, 6 original seats, a folding sleeping module and a comfortable folding table allow you to go on long trips without denying yourself comfort.
The appearance of a domestic "Buchanka" in Germany is in itself a rare phenomenon, and the specimen from an owner who was so attentive and careful about the car deserves to be placed in a hangar as a museum exhibit, however, as the owner himself points out, the UAZ craves new adventures with a new owner.
