The production of the new Sollers SA9 tourist bus has been launched in the Far East. Journalists from "Behind the Wheel" managed to test the flagship SA9 model, which is 12 meters long.
The new cabin is designed for 51 passengers. Installing a kitchen and toilet will reduce the number of seats to 49.
The bus is equipped with a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a volume of 9.3 liters and a power of 370 hp, working in tandem with a six-speed Fast Gear manual transmission.
In a mixed cycle, fuel consumption is just over 25 l/100 km. With this consumption, a 500-liter tank will last for approximately 2000 km. The Far Eastern plant is designed for the large-unit assembly of 1500 buses per year.
The price of the Sollers SA9 is 16 million rubles, but thanks to subsidies, it can be reduced by 3 million.
The company is considering the possibility of transferring bus production to Yelabuga, establishing the production of bodies.
