A rare GAZ M-20 "Pobeda-Cabriolet" car from 1950 has been put up for sale in Saratov. The owner valued the rarity at 1.5 million rubles.
The car's mileage is 222 thousand km, it is in completely factory condition.
A total of 14,222 copies were produced between 1949 and 1952. The convertible has retained its original equipment by 100%.
GAZ-M-20 is the first Soviet passenger car with a monocoque body and one of the first mass-produced cars in the world that were produced with a monocoque 4-door pontoon-type body, which did not have separate headlights, fenders and running boards.
