Great Wall Motors will present an updated version of the Poer pickup with a 3.0-liter V6 engine at the Chengdu Auto Show. The new model, equipped with a "soft" hybrid system with a 48-volt superstructure, develops 354 hp and 500 N·m of torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Pre-sales have already begun with discounts: $700 for Great Wall owners and $2,100 for trade-in.
Externally, the Poer V6 is almost indistinguishable from the previous version, but it received a snorkel, steel underbody protection, a winch, a tow hook, a 360-degree view system and a footrest in the cargo compartment. The dimensions of the pickup are 4963×1975×1970 mm, the dimensions of the body are 1760×1520×540 mm. Stickers and red calipers are optionally available.
The modernization affected the control, braking and cooling systems, which improved the characteristics of the SUV. The new Poer V6 is aimed at buyers who value power and cross-country ability, and will become a competitive offer on the Chinese market
